Sloe gin with lemonade

This evening I tried a new (for me) long drink. To be honest it was the beautiful shade of purple/red on the shelf behind the bar that caught my eye.

Sloe berries, the fruit of the blackthorn are steeped in gin to make a very luscious gin liqueur. Served with plenty of ice and lemonade it was truly delicious.
